Three checks before checkout
Make sure the sale matches your Kindle.
The matching listing gives a concrete model and bundle contents, but the official event page does not confirm that ASIN is the item receiving the advertised discount.
Match the exact Colorsoft
The matching listing is a 16GB model. Amazon announced a 16GB Colorsoft in 2025, then introduced a new Colorsoft line in 2026. Confirm the generation shown on the product page before you compare prices.
Check what is in the box
This Amazon listing names a Jade fabric cover and 9W power adapter with the 16GB reader. Check the selected variant and the live “items in this bundle” panel; do not assume it includes the 2026 Signature dock or button cover.
Compare the same configuration
Amazon announced the 2025 16GB Colorsoft at $249.99 and the 2026 16GB Colorsoft at $289.99. Those are launch prices, not today's deal. Compare the same storage, generation and included accessories at checkout, and use Amazon's Price History when available.

After the October sale
Compare current prices after the event.
Amazon's U.S. event started at 12:01 a.m. PDT on October 6 and ended at 11:59 p.m. PDT on October 7. Today's Big Deals are scheduled for midnight, 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. PDT. Offers and inventory may change. See Amazon's event schedule.
The exact bundle fits
If the live bundle is the exact reader and accessories you want, compare its total with the same items bought separately.
You want a specific new model
If you want a standalone 2026 Kindle or Paperwhite, the early-offer announcement does not confirm an individual discount. Compare today’s price with the dated event snapshots.
Your current reader still works
A deal badge is not a reason by itself to upgrade. Compare the feature you would use with the model you already own.
Quick answers
Kindle sale questions
Is the new 2026 Kindle Colorsoft discounted?
Amazon names a Colorsoft Essentials Bundle in its early-offer article, but does not confirm a discount for the separate 2026 Colorsoft. That model has its own listing and a $289.99 U.S. launch price; check its live offer directly.
How much is the Kindle Colorsoft bundle?
A matching Amazon listing names a 16GB Colorsoft, Jade fabric cover and 9W power adapter. Amazon's event article does not confirm that this ASIN is the promoted offer or provide its exact event price; verify eligibility and checkout total in your account.
Does Prime Big Deal Days require Prime?
Amazon says the event's exclusive offers require Prime membership. Check your account's current eligibility, plan price and renewal terms on Amazon.
